Job summary

Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists is recruiting Cleaning Operatives to deliver high standards of healthcare cleaning across our sites in Ireland.

The role involves cleaning clinical and general areas, following infection control procedures, and wearing full uniform. Garda Vetting is required; training, induction, and safety policies are provided. Shifts typically Monday to Friday, with early evening hours and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience.
• Good level of English essential.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
• Applicants must provide valid references for a reference check.
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
• Full uniform and identification must be worn while working at sites.
• Adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• May be required to work alone or as part of a team.
• Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical, office and common areas including toilets.
• Surface cleaning and infection control procedures.
• Handle chemicals and operate cleaning machinery; training will be provided.
