Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (Irish Branch) - G50 in Ireland is seeking a smart, ambitious intern to join the EU Public Policy team. The role involves supporting EU policy monitoring, research, and coordination across cross-functional teams.

You will engage in meetings with policymakers, help drive initiatives, and contribute to event organization and knowledge sharing. This paid 6-month internship offers mentorship, access to AWS Affinity Groups, and opportunities to progress to graduate

Qualifications

• Currently in final or penultimate year and pursuing a university bachelor's or master's in Public Policy, Political Science, or Law.
• Fluent English (C1 level or above).
• Available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week) for 6 months with a Q1 start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Public Policy team in monitoring, research and analysis of EU policy issues.
• Assist with scheduling and document preparation for meetings with EU policymakers and stakeholders.
• Support alignment between business and policy goals across Amazon's EU teams.
• Help organize public policy events and knowledge-sharing within and beyond the team.
• Participate in ongoing learning sessions and internships activities.
