Job summary

WuXi Biologics Ireland is seeking a strategic Head of EU Legal – Director to lead the legal function for the Irish entity and provide regional in-house counsel across the EU. You will advise on commercial contracting, regulatory affairs, data privacy, and cross-border transactions while mentoring stakeholders and ensuring adherence to WuXi core values and PROUD culture.

Qualifications

Legal education and bar admission/license in Ireland required.
Up to 10 years of in-house corporate legal experience.
Knowledge of employment laws and data privacy.

Responsibilities

Commercial & operational contracting oversight (template development, review & negotiation).
Legal support for site operations & regulatory affairs.
Dispute resolution responsibilities.
HR employee relations guidance.
Support corporate transactions within the EU region.
Advise and mentor internal stakeholders on legal perspectives, including data compliance.
Review HR and data-related policies from a legal perspective and align with global strategy.
Monitor legislation on employment and data compliance and propose proactive solutions.
Take on additional tasks as directed by VP Manufacturing & Site Lead.
Act as a role model for Legal and Compliance within WuXi Biologics.
