Job summary

Red Carnation Hotels Ltd. at Ashford Castle is recruiting an Estate Supervisor to deliver Forbes Five-Star guest service and uphold our luxury standards. The role focuses on guest welcome, coordinating services, and coordinating with management to ensure seamless operations.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, possess strong communication, and remain flexible to work across a seven-day period. Full driver’s license and eligibility to work in Ireland are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Able to adapt to busy, guest-facing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests on arrival in a warm, personalized way using guest/member names where possible.
  • Coordinate services and products to be available to guests promptly.
  • Review daily sheets and function itineraries to stay informed on bookings and requests.
  • Know VIP lists and function sheets to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assist Estate Manager in planning and executing activities reflecting Ashford Castle/RCH standards.
  • Support front desk during peak times with bookings and activity advice for families or large groups.
  • Collaborate with management on events and promotions to upsell where appropriate.
  • Evaluate services and help streamline systems and procedures.
