Job description

Oranmore Community Centre, Dublin Road, Oranmore, Co. Galway, H91 AV2D

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Responsibilities include maintaining the public amenity spaces of Oranmore Village — including grass cutting, litter control, weed killing, general repairs, stone wall building, reporting issues, and assisting with and preparation of community events (e.g., Christmas Decorations, St Patrick\'s Day event, Culture Night), with adherence to health and safety policies. Training will be offered.
