Job summary

Finglas Childcare Ltd seeks a Maintenance Worker for Willow Tree Creche, Dublin 11. This development opportunity offers accredited training and no prior experience is required. Garda vetting and character references are expected as part of the application process.

You will assist with cleaning, minor repairs, grounds work and the upkeep of all creche areas, under supervision and in line with health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; accredited training will be provided.
• Willingness to participate in mandatory training and QQI training.
• References and Garda vetting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health & safety policies and procedures.
• Identify potential safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Incident/accident reporting.
• Communicate hazards, repairs and spills.
• Update daily cleaning and maintenance records.
• Paint, small repairs and grounds work.
• Placement and assembly of creche furniture.
• Clean and hygienic maintenance of building areas.
• Safe storage and use of cleaning products.
