Job summary

Carbery Group is seeking an Enterprise Applications Technical Architect to lead and evolve its enterprise applications landscape. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and partners to ensure reliability, scalability and security while delivering AI-enabled solutions that drive efficiency.

Responsibilities include governing standards, designing integrations, and delivering modern digital capabilities across Power Platform, Azure services and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in delivering enterprise business applications in a corporate setting.
• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Functions, REST APIs and integrations.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Carbery's enterprise application portfolio.
• Chair the Global Enterprise Review Board and set technical standards.
• Design, develop, configure and support Power Platform, Azure and related integrations.
• Deliver enhancements, integrations and automation to meet business needs.
• Develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps and APIs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation.

Your Role in Carbery's Success

As the Enterprise Applications Technical Architect, you will play a key role in supporting and evolving Carbery's enterprise applications landscape. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues and external partners, this role is responsible for ensuring business applications remain reliable, scalable, secure and aligned to business needs, while delivering technical solutions that drive operational efficiency and long term value. You will also play a key part in accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across Carbery.

How You Will Contribute

As The Enterprise Applications Technical Architect, You Will

• Provide technical leadership and support across Carbery's enterprise application portfolio.
• Own and chair the Global Enterprise Review Board, with authority to set and enforce technical standards, architecture patterns and solution governance across the enterprise applications landscape.
• Design, develop, configure and support solutions across business applications, Power Platform, Azure services and related technologies.
• Deliver application enhancements, integrations, automations and new digital capabilities to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain solutions using technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs and other enterprise integration tools.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable and supportable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and innovation.

Essential Requirements

• 10+ years experience supporting and delivering enterprise business applications within a corporate environment.
• Experience developing solutions using one or more of: Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, REST APIs and integrations, Microsoft Dataverse, or other business application platforms.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations and data flows.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical and functional issues.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with, or strong interest in, AI assisted development tools and practices to improve solution delivery speed and quality.

Desirable Requirements

• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect or Azure certifications.
