Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Project Manager (Engineering) to lead design coordination on Water and Wastewater projects across the island of Ireland. The role involves PCI/PDI stages, contract understanding, and collaboration with the ECI team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years post-qualification experience in M&E or Civil engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and strong IT and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in M&E or Civil engineering projects.
• Engineering degree/diploma at least, or equivalent experience.
• Strong IT skills including MS Project.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities/outputs across Water or Wastewater PCI and PDI.
• Act as main contact for project portfolio issues.
• Collaborate with client, engineers, and H&S to deliver scope.
• Provide timely updates on design outputs, procurement, and variations.
• Identify risks and opportunities and manage workshop dates and costs.
• Ensure documentation is administered via approved systems (e.g., BIM 360).
• Monitor project progress and adherence to programme.
• Manage procurement sheet and risk notifications.
