Purpose of Role:

This is a new opportunity to join our IT Department as an Engineering Manager, where you’ll lead a talented development team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality software solutions. Role Overview:

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of 3 developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. You’ll be responsible for ensuring technical quality and consistency across all deliverables while partnering closely with Product teams to translate strategic goals into actionable engineering plans. • Partner with QA Lead to embed testing into development.

  • Own recruitment process for developers.
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Onboard new engineers effectively.

  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to leadership.

  • Delivery predictability (meeting sprint/release commitments).
  • Code quality metrics (defect rates, code review coverage, test coverage).
