Job summary

A leading company in the Energy Sector is looking to hire a Financial Accountant in Dublin. The role involves managing financial processes, producing KPI reports, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. Qualifications

  • Qualified or Finalist Accountant with a valid certification.
  • Experience in FRS102 reporting is essential.
  • 2+ years PQE preferred in relevant settings.

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly KPI reports on plant performance and energy generation.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance packs.
  • Review accounts payable and receivable and bank reconciliations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support management.

Skills

Qualified or Finalist Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting knowledge with FRS102 reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
2+ years PQE in an industrial, utilities, or renewable energy setting
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Comfortable in a collaborative work environment
Valid driving licence and access to a car
