Job summary

Daffodil Care Services in Meath is recruiting a part-time Social Care Worker for our residential service in Carlanstown. You will provide high quality social care and help create a safe and stabilising environment for young people aged 12–17.

The role requires a Level 7 qualification (degree) or higher, CORU registration eligibility, and a full Irish driving license. Excellent benefits and a competitive salary accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in one of the following: Social Care, Social work, Psychology (Level 8), Child & Adult Psychotherapy, Youth & Community, Teaching, Nursing, Social Science, Counselling, Addiction Studies
• OR
• Eligible to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality social care and a safe, caring environment for vulnerable young people aged 12–17 in residential care.
• Deliver individualized day-to-day activities within the residential service.
• Collaborate with Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders to support positive outcomes.
