Job summary
Cheshire Ireland is seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to join our Galway team. You will support people with daily living needs according to personalised plans, while upholding rights, independence and dignity in our residential and community services.
The role requires QQI Level 5/6 or nursing qualification, willingness to drive, and a 24/7 shift roster. We offer a supportive, rights-based environment with ongoing training, pension benefits and parking on site.
Qualifications
- Hold or be undertaking QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or QQI Level 6 Social Care or a nursing qualification.
- Experience in supporting people with disabilities.
- Hold or be working toward a Full Manual Driving license and willingness to drive for work.
- Availability to work all shifts across a 24‑hour, seven‑day roster.
- Good English, strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
