About the Role
As the EMEA PMO Manager, Technical Services you will establish and scale PMO capabilities that drive regional success while contributing to global PMO strategy development. You will build a high‑performing distributed team of Program Managers and create excellence standards that ensure global alignment and regional effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern portfolio, talent, and organizational transformation across EMEA, aligning with global strategy.
- Lead EMEA PMO operations through portfolio governance, talent development, and organizational transformation.
- Partner with the global PMO and Technical Services leadership to champion regional expertise and cultural adaptation.
- Translate global strategic priorities into successful regional outcomes across MongoDB’s diverse markets.
- Lead the assessment of EMEA processes, stakeholder mapping, and current state analysis to identify capability gaps.
- Implement consistent PMO operating rhythms and portfolio management frameworks across EMEA.
- Drive measurable improvements in stakeholder satisfaction and initiative visibility.
- Build and develop a high‑performing, cohesive EMEA PMO team with clear roles and accountability.
- Manage the EMEA PMO budget, resources, and performance metrics.

Requirements
- 8+ years in program/portfolio management with 3+ years in people management or team leadership, preferably in technical or startup environments.
- Experience building high‑performing, distributed teams across multiple regions and cultures.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and a track record of successful strategy execution.
- Outstanding communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders across regions.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages preferred.
- Experience implementing PMO frameworks, governance structures, and maturity models.
- Proven change‑leadership experience, managing adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Knowledge of EMEA business environments, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
Success Measures
- Within 3 months: Complete comprehensive EMEA assessment and establish strong relationships with key regional leaders.
- Within 6 months: Implement PMO operating rhythms, demonstrate measurable stakeholder satisfaction, and deliver early wins.
- Within 12 months: Lead a cohesive EMEA PMO team, achieve operational excellence in portfolio management, and become a trusted strategic partner.
