Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking interns for their SnapDragon Engineering team in Cork, Ireland. This internship offers hands-on experience across Digital, Analog, and Embedded Software Design & Verification. Candidates will engage with cutting edge IP development for Snapdragon chipsets and collaborate with global teams.

Applicants must be enrolled in an Electrical or Computer Engineering degree, possess strong coding skills, and have a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly. The internship is set to commence in January 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communications and teamwork skills.
• Experience with design, coding and scripting.
• Project work with FPGAs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and verification of software for Snapdragon chipsets.
• Work on cutting edge IP in a collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to various software teams focused on multiple functions.

Skills

Design, coding and scripting: Verilog or VHDL

C/C++

Python

Tcl/Perl/shell-scripting

Knowledge of low-power design

Knowledge of analog integrated circuits

Knowledge of wireless/wired communications

Excellent computer skills

Education

Enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
