Job summary

Glenalbyn Swimming Club is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Head Coach to lead its swimming programme and support the Club’s next stage of development. The role is based in South Dublin and offers an opportunity to drive performance and athlete development within a long-standing competitive club.

The Head Coach will oversee the senior performance squad, mentor staff, and work closely with the Club Committee, swimmers and parents.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading coaching programmes.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities with swimmers, parents and staff.
• Safeguarding and Garda vetting compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee training programmes for senior performance squad.
• Provide leadership across the wider coaching programme and mentor coaching team.
• Attend regional and national competitions and coordinate with club committee, swimmers and parents.
