Job summary

Topcon Positioning Group in Dublin is seeking an Electronics & Repair Technician for on-site work. You will diagnose, repair, test, and maintain surveying instruments, identify faults, and perform quality checks while keeping repair records up to date.

We require an MBO/HBO in electronics or a related field, hands-on repair experience or internships, and a structured troubleshooting mindset with good English.

Work arrangement: This role requires regular on-site presence in Dublin, Ireland work location.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, maintain, test, and repair surveying and positioning instruments.
• Identify faults, replace components, and complete quality checks.
• Keep repair records and technical systems accurate and up to date.
• Provide practical support to dealers, distributors, and colleagues.

What you bring

• An MBO or HBO qualification in electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Hands-on experience in repair, maintenance, assembly, testing, or electronics; relevant internship experience is welcome.
• A structured troubleshooting mindset and confidence using tools and technical documentation.
• Good English; other European languages a strong advantage
• Young engineers and recent graduates in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical disciplines are encouraged to apply. No specific work experience is required-we value a strong technical background, curiosity, and the motivation to learn and grow with us.
