Aerogen, based in Galway, Ireland, is seeking an Electronics and Software Test Engineer to plan, develop, and execute tests across the product lifecycle. You will work under technical guidance to verify hardware and embedded software systems, ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Experience validating medical electrical equipment and software desirable.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in Electronic/Software/Biomedical engineering.
• Minimum 1 year testing electronic hardware, embedded software or complete HW-SW systems in medical devices.
• Knowledge of IEC/EN60601 and IEC/EN62304 desirable.

Mansioni

• Define verification and validation scope and activities from approved requirements.
• Develop test methods, fixtures, scripts for hardware, embedded software, and HW-SW systems.
• Execute test protocols; record evidence, investigate failures, ensure conformance.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, protocols, configurations, test records with traceability.
• Collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Sales, and Marketing.
• Assist in regulatory compliance with medical device standards and guidance.
• Engage clinicians to elicit user needs and requirements when needed.
• Stay current with industry trends and tools; contribute to process improvements.
