Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Electrical Turnover Lead for a permanent role. The position involves defining system handover, coordinating test packs, and ensuring all turnover documentation meets client and internal quality standards.

The candidate will work within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team on leading-edge projects across pharma, data centres and power facilities. Ideal candidates will have an electrical trade background or degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering,

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background and/or a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Qualified QC certifier in electrical projects advantageous.
• Experience with Safe Electric / NICEIC style inspection & testing.
• CompEx E01-06 qualification for ATEX environments preferred.
• LOTO and COHE trained.
• Authorized Person competence and training.
• Strong knowledge of I&C installations.
• Experience in Pharma/Medical Devices/Data Centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of LV systems and relevant standards (ETCI, EN, BS).

Responsibilities

• Define construction systems via P&ID and electrical single-line diagrams.
• Define system handover dossier formats and contractor handover dossiers.
• Maintain Kirby quality system and data management for turnover.
• Define test pack scope and issue test pack specs for contractors.
• Coordinate inspection and client/commissioning acceptance for tests.
• Maintain audit trail and punchlist for system packages.
• Coordinate test packs from isometric completion through testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate site prep, civil/steelwork and related handover documentation.
• Coordinate instrument and electrical completions and markups for turnover to commissioning/operations.
• Liaise daily with startup/commissioning and negotiate exceptions for acceptance.
