Qualifications

• Craft qualified electrician with relevant experience.
• Background in energy conversion/distribution (highly desirable)
• Analytical mindset; Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV distribution, turbines, generators, boilers, fuel oil systems, and industrial gas installations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities with on-site shift technicians, especially during shift changeovers
• Act as the main contact for service providers
• Troubleshoot and investigate faults in utility plant equipment (root cause analysis)
• Ensure compliance and quality standards are met
• Carry out planned preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Develop and manage CMMS systems, PMs, Job Plans, and SOPs
• Liaise with planners to identify spare part requirements
• Review maintenance programmes to maximise uptime
• Take a leadership role in plant operation decisions
• Mentor and support team members in resolving complex issues
• Support site engineers in root cause analysis and capital improvement projects
