Job summary

Winthrop Technologies seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Dublin team on major data centre projects. You will supervise electrical installation activities on site, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery of works.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and site teams, read and interpret drawings and specs, and support testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification or relevant electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience supervising electrical installations within a construction contracting environment.
• Experience on data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or commercial projects desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on site to ensure works are completed in line with project requirements, programme, and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily activities with electrical subcontractors, site teams, and wider project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress of electrical installations and report any issues, delays, or risks to the project team.
• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project standards.
• Support the implementation of RAMS, permits, and safe working practices across electrical activities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines including Mechanical and CSA teams to ensure services are installed correctly and interfaces are managed effectively.
• Assist with reviewing drawings, technical documentation, and resolving site queries.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for electrical systems.
• Ensure accurate completion of quality records, inspections, and project documentation.
• Monitor snagging activities and support the close‑out process through to project completion.
