Job summary

ENERCON is seeking an Electrical Service Technician based in Laghey, Co. Donegal, Ireland. You will perform service, maintenance and repair on ENERCON wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

You will work with state-of-the-art electrical, electronic and mechanical systems, diagnosing issues, conducting fault-finding and reporting with accurate documentation. The role requires safety rigour and willingness to participate in weekend emergency call-out shifts.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification or engineering degree.
• Pass a Working at Heights medical.
• Valid Irish driving licence (Category B) and Safe Pass required.
• Physically fit for field service duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair on ENERCON wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical issues and document findings.
• Conduct fault-finding and reporting with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to site safety rules and environmental standards at all times.
• Include weekend emergency call-out as part of team rotation.

ENERCON are now recruiting for an Electrical Service Technician based in Laghey, Co. Donegal, Ireland.

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair on ENERCON wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Work with state-of-the-art electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
• Conduct fault-finding and reporting on electrical and mechanical components, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Adhere to site rules, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Comply with Wind Turbine Safety Rules and guidelines, completing all required documentation and reporting accurately.
• Uphold the highest safety and environmental standards during all operations.
• Complete computerised documentation for service and maintenance activities.
• Participate in weekend emergency call-out service as part of the team rotation.

Job Requirements

• Qualified Electrician or holder of an Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Physically fit and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester Step Test).
• Full, clean Irish Category B driving licence.
• Valid Safe Pass Card is essential.

Location

This role will have the candidate based in Laghey, Co. Donegal, with the ideal candidate living less than 45 mins away.
