Job summary

Arcadis DPS is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Capital Projects team on a pharmaceutical assignment in Rathdrum, South Wicklow. You will provide site-based electrical leadership to ensure all electrical systems are designed, installed, commissioned, and maintained in compliance with cGMP.

The role involves end-to-end ownership of electrical scope execution, contractor oversight, and safety governance in a GMP/ATEX regulated environment, with a 12-month contract initially.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is essential.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with ATEX/hazardous areas.
• Ability to lead site electrical work, manage contractors, and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical scope for capital projects and upgrades.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and handover processes.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces with automation, instrumentation, and OEM vendors.
• Drive safety governance, permit-to-work, LOTO, and compliance with GMP/ATEX standards.
