A leading engineering company in Cork is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their Power Generation & Energy Systems team. This full-time position offers competitive salary and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, along with 4-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include designing electrical systems, producing schematics using AutoCAD, and mentoring junior staff. Qualifications
4–5 years' experience in electrical engineering.
Experience using AutoCAD and EPLAN or similar software.
Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Produce drawings, wiring schematics, lists and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
Design electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.
Oversee the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
Collaborate with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation.
Undertake Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
Conduct commissioning activities in the field.
Mentor Graduate & Junior Engineers.
