Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking an Electrical BIM Detailer in Maynooth/Collinstown to develop detailed 3D BIM models of electrical systems, coordinate within a multidisciplinary team, and ensure adherence to BIM standards. The role focuses on clash detection, model-to-drawing workflows, and contributing to BEP compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience and strong skills in Revit and Navisworks, with a collaborative mindset to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years minimum in a similar position.
• Proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong collaboration and communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Model development of detailed 3D BIM models of electrical systems using Autodesk tools.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and BIM team for seamless integration.
• Perform clash detection to resolve conflicts using Navisworks Manage.
• Prepare 2D drawings from BIM models for design and shop drawings.
• Ensure modelling adheres to BIM standards and BEP requirements.
