Job summary

Mercury is recruiting 1st year Electrical Apprentices to join the Dublin region. The program offers a seven-phase structured pathway with in-house development through Mercury’s Apprentice Development Centre in Dublin, with no prior experience required.

You will work 39 hours per week, report to a Foreperson, and complete SOLAS-based training and assessments to qualify for future roles within Mercury’s engineering and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a Safe Pass card.
• Must have completed a Manual Handling certificate.
• Qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard.

Responsibilities

• Reports to a Foreperson.
• Work Schedule: 39 hours per week with overtime when requested.
• Apprenticeships governed by SOLAS; involves training and assessments to reach required standards.
• Apprentice program consists of 7 phases (3 off-the-job, 4 on-the-job) with on-site training at Mercury.
• All apprentice rates align with sectoral employment orders.
