Chris Mee Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced EHS professional to join our manufacturing site, driving the development and implementation of environmental, health and safety standards across operations.

You will provide day-to-day EHS guidance, conduct risk assessments, support REACH compliance and incident investigations, and lead training to strengthen safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in EHS or SHE roles within manufacturing/chemical/process environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 experience.

Responsabilités

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS management systems aligned with standards and regulations.
• Provide day-to-day EHS guidance to operational and management teams.
• Conduct risk assessments for workplace activities, equipment, chemicals, and machinery safety.
• Apply machinery safety knowledge to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Support chemical safety and REACH compliance activities.
• Monitor EHS performance and contribute to KPI reporting.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and toolbox talks.
• Lead incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Oversee permit-to-work arrangements and contractor safety management.
• Coordinate internal and external EHS audits and compliance reviews.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and support statutory reporting.
• Monitor environmental performance and waste management compliance.
• Maintain EHS monitoring programmes and safety equipment.
• Take ownership of EHS projects and site-wide improvements.
