Job summary

Atlantic Flight Training Academy, Cork, Ireland, are recruiting for full-time EASA licensed full-time unrestricted flight instructors, with additional privileges to teach IRI and ME preferred (IRI/CRI Instructors).

We operate a large fleet of Cessna 172, Diamond DA40 & DA42, & Slingsby aircraft training domestic and international cadets for some of the world’s largest airlines and with Vulcanair P68 aircraft to support our aerial survey division, which provides some variety to our

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid EASA CPL/MEIR FI (A) with unrestricted privileges.
  • Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) and Class Rating Instructor (CRI) privileges are considered a significant advantage.
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Proven instructional experience within a flight training environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA/IAA aviation regulations and ATO requirements.
  • Minimum ICAO English level 5 or 6 required.
  • Knowledge of Aeronautical Legislation, rules.

Responsibilities

  • Flight, flight simulation and ground tuition – delivering instruction to students and completing the associated paperwork and record keeping.
  • Monitoring student progress, carrying out student reviews, providing constructive feedback, ensuring flying standards are adhered to.
  • Ensuring training is conducted in accordance with the approved syllabi.
  • Maintaining Health & Safety and following regulations as advised by authorities.
  • Ensuring student welfare and discipline is monitored at all times.
  • Leading by example in dress and behaviour and maintaining records for management.
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
