Murphy is offering a Civil Engineering Apprenticeship across Ireland, with placement on diverse project sites. You will learn on the job under experienced engineers and university tutors, building practical skills and pursuing formal QQI qualifications.

The role involves travelling between sites nationwide, with a strong learning curve and mentorship leading toward professional registration with Engineers Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Pass in Maths at Level 5 (or equivalent).
• No prior experience required; ready to learn.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland is essential.
• Valid driving license required for site placements across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site management under guidance of mentors.
• Learn concept design and inspections for temporary works.
• Support with reviewing tenders and developing design solutions.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements.
• Participate in site surveys and quality control tasks.
• Coordinate with engineers and managers on site plans.
