Job summary

Back 4 Good is seeking three enthusiastic Fitness Instructors for opportunities in Blackrock, Dublin. You will deliver sessions, conduct inductions and assess progress while supporting a welcoming fitness environment for members of varying ages and abilities.

Ideal candidates hold a recognised Fitness Instructor qualification and have strong communication skills with a client-focused approach. Some mornings, evenings and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a recognised Fitness Instructor qualification or equivalent appropriate to the duties of the role.
• Candidates should ideally have a recognised Fitness/Gym Instructor qualification.
• REPs Ireland registration, or eligibility for registration, would be an advantage.
• Experience in gym/leisure/health club environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of exercise technique and safe equipment use.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate people with different fitness abilities.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging and effective fitness sessions.
• Provide gym inductions and demonstrate correct use of equipment.
• Conduct basic fitness assessments and discuss individual goals.
• Plan and deliver group classes where appropriately qualified.
• Guide exercise technique and safe training practices.
• Encourage and motivate members to achieve realistic goals.
• Monitor members during exercise and adapt activities as needed.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with day-to-day operation of the gym and fitness areas.
• Build positive relationships with members.
• Promote fitness programmes and wellbeing initiatives.
• Stay up to date with developments in the fitness industry.
