Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is hiring after-school and before-school program staff to support school-aged children in Ireland. You will supervise children during activities, help with homework, and lead indoor and outdoor activities with energy and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• Work Permit/VISA is essential.
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) daily.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to working with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
