TD is offering a 6-month internship for a Software Engineer in Valuation Services, based in TD's Dublin office. The role focuses on building and testing software within a risk analytics platform, with collaboration across teams and regions.

Candidates should be penultimate-year students in CS/SE/DAI, with strong Python, testing, and Git skills, and a willingness to learn emerging tech. You will gain exposure to Python, FastAPI/Flask APIs, Pytest, Dash visualizations, SQL Server and Azure, while

Competenze

• Penultimate year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Bachelors or Masters programme.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative work ethic and a bias for action.
• A thirst for constantly exploring emerging technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across teams and regions and deliver accurate results under time pressure.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Python coding and debugging.
• Pytest testing.
• Familiarity with source code management such as GIT.
• Previous experience with cloud technologies and microservices architectures is an asset.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and deploy system enhancements.
• Perform Unit and System Integration testing.
• Participate in Proof of Concept on new technologies and document findings.
• Assist in development/maintenance of processes for prevention of issues and incident resolution.
• Work with business partners to define and develop detailed business requirements.
• Document system deployment plans for deployment.
• Provide usability analysis recommendations.
• Respond to business and user inquiries on applications.
• Troubleshoot and determine root cause of defects.
• Support code reviews and testing to minimize defects.
• Apply SDLC and PMLC to tasks for projects.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Keep updated with leading-edge TD technologies and architectures.
