Job summary

AbbVie in Sligo seeks a Drug Product Operations Engineer to produce drug product material in line with organizational needs and compliant to all relevant standards. Based at Mannorhamilton Road, you will support Drug Product and Synthroid manufacturing and help implement continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• What you will need: 3–5 years in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• 3rd level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement ideas and operational excellence in production.
• Support pre-campaign planning of Drug Products and APIs.
• Lead Root Cause Analyses and corrective/preventive actions.
• Assist in implementing changes to Operating SOPs and CAPAs.
• Support safety, compliance and EHS standards.
