Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

• The successful applicant will be required to provide service users with safe and punctual transport.
• When not driving they will also be responsible for maintenance tasks such as mowing the grass and keeping it in good order throughout the year.
• Trimming and pruning hedges and shrubs in the correct season.
• Cleaning the drive and pathways to ensure the safe and hygienic conditions of these surfaces.
• Maintaining the building e.g. painting, decorating, cleaning bins weekly and waste disposal or as required.
• Ensuring the waste is provided for collection at the correct times and the bins are kept in their place after collection.
• Applicants must have a full B driving license.
