Job summary

Hyde & Seek Childcare in Dublin is seeking a reliable Driver to join our team. This role focuses on collecting learners from local schools and transporting them to our afterschool service each day, ensuring a safe and caring environment on every journey.

You will hold a clean driving licence, be at least 25, and pass Garda vetting. Previous professional driving is an advantage. The position offers school-term hours 12:45 pm to 3:15 pm with potential extra hours in other roles.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Driver. This role is centred around collections for our afterschool service. Our dedicated drivers help bring learners safely from schools to our afterschool service each day, creating a safe and caring environment on every journey.

Driving Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect children safely from local schools in our company people carriers and
• Transport them to our afterschool services.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting as needed to traffic or school changes.
• Help children safely enter and exit the vehicle, ensuring seat belts and safety protocols are always followed.
• Maintain clear and friendly communication with the Afterschool team regarding arrival times or any delays.
• Build positive relationships with children, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere during journeys.

Hours

• School collections: Monday to Friday, 12:45 pm – 3:15 pm.
• Opportunity for additional hours in other roles.
