Job summary

A whiskey distillery in Kildare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance activities for distillery equipment. This role requires a fully qualified candidate in electrical or mechanical fields with a good knowledge of the other discipline. Responsibilities include ensuring safe working practices, performing preventive maintenance, and coaching operators in asset maintenance. Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of the other discipline.
• Experience working with steam boilers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the operation of process plant and equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
• Execute preventive and periodic maintenance for all plant.
• Manage third-party contractor activities.
• Coach distillery operators in maintenance training.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and automation issues.
