Eden Social Care in North Dublin seeks an inspiring Director of Nursing to lead a brand-new state-of-the-art facility. You will drive resident-centred care, clinical excellence and a warm, welcoming culture where residents and staff thrive.

You will build and develop a high-performing nursing team, ensure HIQA and NMBI standards, oversee governance and audits, manage recruitment and development, and help open the new home successfully.

Qualifications

• Qualified RGN with active NMBI registration
• Post-registration management qualification in health or related field
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in healthcare
• Proven track record in clinical management
• Strong decision-making and financial acumen
• Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Experience supporting HIQA/NMBI standards and regulatory requirements

An exciting opportunity awaits an ambitious, passionate Director of Nursing to lead a brand-new, state-of-the‑art nursing home in North Dublin.

Salary:

€75,000 - €80,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing nursing and care team.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
• Maintain compliance with HIQA standards, NMBI requirements and relevant legislation.
• Oversee clinical governance, quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement.
• Manage recruitment, staffing, training and professional development.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, GPs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote a positive culture of dignity, respect, teamwork and excellence.
• Play a key role in the successful opening and development of this exciting new facility.

Experience

• Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN), with at least 3 years' experience in the care of older persons within the last 6 years.
• A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
• At least 2 years' management experience within healthcare.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• Proven track record in clinical management within healthcare.
• Strong decision‑making abilities with a results‑driven approach.
• A good understanding of financial management.
• Ability to motivate and develop team members, work on own initiative and foster a strong team environment.
• Ability to meet the evolving needs of a growing nursing home.
