Job summary

The Apex Group is seeking a Head of Risk Framework to lead the design, strengthening and oversight of the Group's risk management framework across multiple jurisdictions. You will align risk policy, taxonomy and reporting with strategy and regulatory obligations, working with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit to embed the Three Lines of Defence model.

In this senior role you will drive risk culture, lead a dedicated Risk Framework team, manage risk technology and data initiatives, and

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in enterprise risk management within a regulated financial services environment.
• Knowledge of risk appetite, assessment, controls and policy governance.
• Experience leading multi-jurisdictional risk programs and GRC platform changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, strengthen and oversee the Group Risk Management Framework and policies.
• Maintain risk taxonomy, classification matrix and risk appetite methodology.
• Oversee risk assessments, monitoring and escalation of material issues.
• Support local risk assessments and ensure Group standards are applied.
• Escalate priority risks to executive management and board committees.
• Lead risk technology initiatives, including Riskonnect integrations.
• Promote risk culture and governance across the organisation.
