Job summary

Cognizant Life Sciences Manufacturing seeks a DevOps Lead with a strong software engineering background to define and own the DevOps strategy, toolchain, and delivery infrastructure across the organisation, with an initial focus on the MES programme bridging development, operations and quality in a regulated environment.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, champion shift-left quality, and collaborate with MES vendors to align development with the DevOps roadmap, using

Qualifications

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines reflecting SDLC understanding.
• Develop, own, and evolve DevOps strategy and toolchain.
• Work with MES vendors to align development with the DevOps roadmap.
• Own the DevOps toolchain: source control, build automation, release management, environment provisioning, monitoring, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Define branching strategies and release management standards for regulated environments.
• Collaborate with vendors, SI, and internal teams to translate platform architecture into IaC and deployment automation.
• Lead environment management across MES and other enterprise apps.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for MES platform health.
