Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc in Galway is seeking a developer-experience focused engineer to help shape the Agentic Developer Experience within Cisco Collaboration. You will work with engineering teams to understand developer needs and improve workflows and tooling.

The role also involves defining security posture for Collaboration, contributing to internal developer platforms, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and related cloud-native tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native development concepts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with developer experience (DevEx) initiatives or platform engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the definition of the Agentic Developer Experience in Cisco Collaboration.
• Help define security posture for Collaboration.
• Engage with engineering teams to understand developer needs and improve workflows and user experience.
• Contribute to internal developer platforms and tooling.
• Participate to CI/CD pipelines using the GitHub ecosystem (e.g., Agentic Workflows).
