Elusav Recruitment have an amazing opportunity for a Design Manager with a leading water and wastewater solutions provider in Dublin.

As the Design Manager you will be responsible for the management of the design process for water/wastewater design build projects.

Responsibilities

• Management of the design process for water/wastewater design build projects.
• Coordination of the design engineers across all disciplines of mechanical, electrical, ICA and civil.
• Ensuring that all disciplines of design are incorporated into the 3D model.
• Tracking, monitoring and reporting on design expenditure against budget.
• Ensuring that Designer duties are discharged in line with relevant regulations.
• Compilation of Weekly / monthly reports as dictated by the Project.
• Monitoring of design outputs against the design deliverable schedule.
• Confirming that all technical standards/ specifications are being adhered to.
• Technical governance and sign off of designs.
• Preliminary design work to assist in tendering and estimating.
• Chair Design co-ordination meetings.
• Management of the change management process.
• Developing and updating the Design Management Plan.
• Producing design briefs, incorporating the requirements of all the project needs, including Mechanical, Electrical and Civil interface.

Requirements

• 10 years demonstrated Design Experience.
• Experience of managing multidiscipline engineering design teams.
• Experience of managing Multiple small projects or single larger projects in water/wastewater in UK or Ireland.
• Revit/ BIM / AutoCAD design modelling software.
• Principal Designer / PSDP experience.
• Chartered Engineer preferred or working towards chartership.
