Saint Joseph's Shankill is seeking Staff Nurses to join our dementia-focused care team in Ireland. The role requires current NMBI registration, at least three years’ nursing experience in Ireland, and experience with elderly residents living with dementia.

You will work within an inter-disciplinary team, uphold clinical standards, and participate in professional development. We offer supportive leadership and opportunities for growth within a compassionate home environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration on the General / Psychiatric division of the register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Have three years of experience in a nursing role in Ireland's Healthcare System
• Current experience in the care of the elderly and people living with dementia
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
• A post-graduate diploma in gerontology or dementia is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Practice Nursing according to the Professional Code of Practice and NMBI guidelines
• Follow safeguarding policies and maintain resident dignity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
• Maintain accurate written records and ensure safe administration and storage of medicines
• Participate in performance reviews and ongoing professional development and contribute to team growth
• Respect resident confidentiality and work within professional standards and scope
