Job summary

Inver Energy invites applications for a Deli Supervisor in Charleville. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of high quality hot and cold Deli products while maintaining a high level of customer service.

You will manage daily Deli operations, ensure HACCP compliance, handle stock and waste, train staff, and contribute ideas to boost sales and standards. Flexibility to work early mornings and evenings is essential.

• Previous experience as Deli Assistant

Responsibilities

• Ensuring HACCP and food safety standards are met and documentation is up to date
• Handling stock and waste control of Deli products
• Bringing forward ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
• Managing day-to-day Deli operations and supervising employees
• Supervising cooking, serving, packaging, and counter operations
• Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation to avoid spoilage
• Labeling products with prices and dates
• Dealing with customer queries to high standards
• Encouraging teamwork and customer service in the Deli area
• Completing back-office administrative duties as required
• Assisting in inventory and sales budget preparation
• Providing training to staff on policies and sales guidelines

Amber Petroleum Ltd are currently recruiting for a Deli Supervisor in Charleville

The successful candidate must be full flexible, able to work various shifts including early mornings and evenings.

The Deli Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold Deli products while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date
• Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products
• Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
• Managing the day to day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance
• Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters
• Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage
• Ensuring that products are properly labelled with prices and dates
• Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards
• Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli area
• Completing any back office administrative duties as required
• Assisting in preparation of inventory and sales budgets
• Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines.
