Qualifications

• 5-6 years of proven experience in a busy deli or fresh food department.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop a team.
• Excellent HACCP and food safety knowledge.
• Commercial acumen including cost control and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of a busy deli and fresh food department.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the deli team to ensure high productivity and standards.
• Maintain HACCP compliance, hygiene and food safety practices.
• Ensure accurate product labelling, allergen info, pricing and dates.
• Monitor stock rotation, waste, and supplier orders to maximise profitability.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve queries efficiently.
