Job summary

Costcutter is seeking a friendly Deli Assistant to join our store team in Ireland. You will help customers, slice meats and cheeses, prepare sandwiches, and keep the deli area clean and well stocked.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, ensure high levels of hygiene following HACCP guidelines, and handle transactions at the counter with a positive and can-do attitude. This role also offers opportunities to develop customer service skills and advance within a growing local brand.

Qualifications

• HACCP experience or knowledge is required.
• Experience handling fresh deli products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and handle transactions at the deli counter.
• Slice meats and cheeses, prepare sandwiches and other deli items.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in the deli area.
