Job summary

Grant Thornton Corporate Finance Ltd in Cork is seeking a driven analyst to join the Deal Advisory team. You will work on financial due diligence, valuations, and M&A support across acquisitions and divestitures, building robust financial models and helping clients shape growth strategies.

The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience, a degree in Finance/Economics, ACA or CFA, and strong Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of transaction advisory experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; ACA/CFA or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Work on financial due diligence engagements related to acquisitions or divestitures.
• Provide support on lead advisory M&A projects, including IM preparation and financial databooks.
• Assist on valuation engagements using DCF, comps, and PPA/Intangible asset valuation.
• Develop/assist in robust financial models including 3-statement forecasts and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare business plans with clients to support growth strategies.
• Assist the wider team on debt advisory engagements.
