Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Data Scientist I to join our growing Decision Science team. The role focuses on creating insights to drive growth, partnering with senior commercial stakeholders, and supporting Sportsbook and Casino strategy.

You will develop LTV models, experimental designs, and scalable analytics solutions, collaborating with analysts to improve marketing efficiency. A 2+ year background in data science and a quantitative degree are required; Dublin onsite with global

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven data science/analytics experience.
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Economics.
• Strong SQL and Python; experience building ML models.
• Experience with statistics, regression, clustering, and A/B testing.
• Expertise in experimental design and uplift modeling.

Responsibilities

• Understand iGaming ecosystem (Sportsbook and Casino) and player behavior.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Sports and Casino units to drive performance.
• Partner with Data Scientists/Analysts to build scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop and deploy personalized engines for promotions and recommendations.
• Build and maintain Lifetime Value models to improve segmentation/marketing efficiency.
• Stay updated on ML trends and competitive shifts in betting/gaming.
