Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a Data Migration / Modernization Presales Solution Architect, L6, to lead end-to-end solution blueprints from client vision to technology execution. You will work across geographies, align with sales and delivery, and design migration strategies for on-prem to cloud using Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, PySpark, and cloud ML services.

The role requires extensive data engineering/BI experience, cloud ecosystem expertise, and GenAI delivery know-how.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering or BI in AI & Data delivery or Presales
• 8+ years of experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP) in delivery or Presales
• 3+ years of GenAI & Agentic AI delivery or Presales
• 2+ years experience in AI-led delivery in cross-functional, global environments with multiple stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (min 12 years)

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technical architecture (data engineering, data visualization, AI, GenAI) across RFPs/RFIs
• Define end-to-end application architectures (data ingestion to AI/ML)
• Design data migration patterns and migration approaches for components
• Align tech components (Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, PySpark, Azure ML, GCP BigQuery, AWS Glue, Informatica, Talend) with use cases
• Prepare ADM effort estimates and validate with AI & Data SMEs
• Build staffing models for onshore/offshore/nearshore mixes
• Create solution plan decks for sales and delivery alignment
• Engage in solution/delivery reviews with leadership across geographies
• Cross geographic collaboration with sales and delivery teams
• Contribute to client proposals, SOWs, and contracting documents
• Present and defend solutions in internal/external forums
• Transition solution to delivery post-deal closure
• Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and communication

You Are

As a Data Migration / Modernization Presales Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end solution blueprint and roadmap, acting as the bridge between client vision and technology execution. You will be instrumental in understanding business problems and translating them into technology solutions while having stakeholder alignment throughout the deal lifecycle. In this role, you’ll gain experience in designing Data migration and modernization solutions from on-prem to cloud, working across global delivery and sales teams. Some Managed Services exposure may also present itself in designing Data & AI application maintenance and support solutions as well. You will work cross cloud, cross industry, and cross geography gaining depth and breadth of exposure while deepening your expertise in emerging technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, GenAI, Agents - preparing you for the future.

The Work

• Understand RFP/RFIs and translate the business needs into technical architecture (data engineering, data visualization, AI, Gen AI).
• Define end-to-end application architectures diagrams (data ingestion to data consumption to AI/ML).
• Define Migration approach for each solution component (Storage objects, ETL Jobs, Orchestration, Reports) and define data migration patterns for estimation purposes.
• Align technology components (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, PySpark, Azure ML, Azure Foundry, GCP BigQuery, AWS Glue, Informatica, Talend, etc.) with business use cases.
• Prepare detailed ADM effort estimates and get them validated with AI & Data capability SMEs.
• Ensure solution design meets desired service level metrics and key performance indicators.
• Develop credible AI first automation solutions working with the SMEs
• Design optimal staffing models based on onshore/offshore/nearshore mix and pyramid structure.
• Build solution plan power point decks for use in sales and delivery alignment.
• Engage in solution and delivery reviews with leadership across geographies.
• Act as the strategic link between sales and delivery teams.
• Contribute to client-facing proposals, SOWs, and contracting documents.
• Present and defend your solution in internal and external forums.
• Seamlessly transition the solution to the delivery team post-deal closure.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience working in cross-functional and global environments.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 10% to 25% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence in AI & Data delivery or Presales
• Minimum 8 years of experience with cloud eco-systems - Azure/AWS/Google experience in delivery or Presales

• Minimum 3 years of GenAI & Agentic AI delivery or Presales
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AI-led delivery, working in a cross-functional and global environment managing multiple stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

Bonus points if you have

• Deep industry exposure across Financial Services, Products - Retail, Life Science, Telecom, or Energy industries
• Certification in Cloud skills (AWS/Azure/GCP) or Ecosystem partner tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric etc.)
• External client-facing consulting experience

• Good PowerPoint skills for leadership and client storytelling
