Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a hybrid role on a 6-month contract. You will design and develop scalable data platforms, pipelines and data warehouse solutions, collaborating with Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering to turn complex business data into trusted, actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL, Python, ETL, DBT and data modelling skills, plus experience with Snowflake/Redshift and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

• Senior Data Engineer with solid SQL, Python, ETL, DBT and data modelling skills.
• Cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift and cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience designing reliable data pipelines, APIs, SaaS systems, and BI solutions like Tableau.

I'm currently recruiting for a data engineer based in Dublin, focusing on hybrid working. This is an initial 6 month contract, strong day rate available.

About the Role

Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing and developing scalable data platforms, pipelines and data warehouse solutions. Work closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering to turn complex business data into trusted, actionable insights. Build data solutions that support both modern analytics and emerging AI/ML use cases.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, with strong SQL, Python, ETL, DBT and data modelling skills.
• Previous technical experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift, alongside cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Previous experience designing reliable data pipelines, working with APIs and SaaS business systems, and supporting BI solutions such as Tableau.

Desirable Experience

• Desirable Experience with AI/ML data structures, RAG architectures or predictive modelling.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimisation, object storage and serverless technologies.
