Job summary

Creditsafe is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Data Cloud team in Dublin on a hybrid basis, with 50% office attendance each week. You will contribute to a high-throughput data platform built with Python and AWS services, delivering scalable APIs and data processing pipelines for thousands of customers.

You’ll work across the stack, collaborate with QA, and help shape optimised data workflows, driving learnings and career growth in a fast-growing Irish data company.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write clean, production-grade Python code.
• Experience building APIs and data pipelines in a commercial environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to codebase and peer reviews.
• Design/build metadata-driven, event-based data processing platform (Python, Airflow, Redshift, DynamoDB, AWS Glue, S3).
• Develop and deploy systems used by thousands of customers; seek continuous learning.
• Scale Creditsafe APIs to support >1000 TPS with serverless tech.
• Implement CI practices for rapid delivery of working code.
• Collaborate with QA with shift-left testing for quality from day one.
• Understand data domains to improve existing products.
