We're hiring a skilled Data Centre Technician to join a high-performing team on one of Ireland's most exciting new client sites. If you're a hands‑on professional with a strong technical background and a passion for solving problems, this is your chance to step into a role that keeps the digital world running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and resolve day-to-day technical tickets to meet client KPIs and service-level agreements
  • Install, maintain, and certify optical infrastructure (servers, networking equipment, fibre patching, etc.)
  • Monitor system performance and quickly respond to faults or outages
  • Operate and isolate Electrical, Cooling, Fire, and Sprinkler systems (where authorised)
  • Support capacity planning and daily ops in tandem with engineers and IT teams
  • Cover holiday, training, and sickness absences for shift team members
  • Deliver condition assessments, incident reports, and maintenance logs with precision
  • Maintain full compliance with health & safety, quality assurance, and client procedures
  • Ensure consistent performance from external contractors and follow through on reports
  • Take ownership of documentation and infrastructure mapping updates
  • Seamlessly balance routine tasks with ad hoc project work
What You’ll Bring:
  • Formal trade qualification
  • Ideally 2+ years’ as a Data Centre Technician, Electrician
  • Experience in mission-critical environments (UPS, BMS, chillers, gensets, electrical testing)
  • Proficiency in optical hardware installation and fibre testing/certification
  • Strong awareness of maintenance-related health & safety requirements
  • Clear communicator-both verbal and written-with strong documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Calm under pressure, collaborative, and customer-focused
